NUMBERS AND TIME

Ecclesiastes 3:1-2   In the great tapestry of human existence, we can often notice divine whispers. The Almighty can engrave the final chapter of a life on its birth date. The idea that the end of a life is written from its beginning is a mystery like that of weaving the thread of mortal life.   The Ides of March remind us that a new era of power can be suddenly interrupted by an abrupt, violent departure. Coincidences do not exist. Or perhaps, only in the minds of some who imagine a Divine Scribe with cosmic humor playing with numbers. GOD does not play with numbers.   Of course, in our modern, rational world, we try to explain these things with science and probability.
